Spring/Summer--are we talking about these two seasons already? Apparently, the designers have been busy showing off their artistic talents .jpg) with what they think their clients should wear for Spring/Summer 2010. 2009 was a challenging year for both designers and their consumers, everyone worked a little harder in an attempt to match prior years successes with much economic opposition. The designs spoke for themselves, they were as fabulous as they've always been but consumer pocketbooks were somewhat reticent because of the global economic downturn.

The mega lead into award season for 2010, The Golden Globes, the one the general public is truly aware of that award writers, producers, directors, studios and actors for their hard work that entertained us in the year past. Do you get all dizzy with delight at seeing all the movies and television shows that are nominated so that participation in the joy of winning on award night feels personal? Do you pick your favorites and wish you were at a party cock-tailing and congratulating your picks? The Golden Globe Awards set the pace of who may be nominated for the big one, "The Oscar". This makes it quite the trend setter and the fact that the organization recognizes television entertainment alongside films is a treat. Yes, they cross over into each others worlds from time to time but being honored together is fantastic; the film stars and television stars get to play ball together for an evening and the audience is happy to watch the celebration. And it's quite entertaining to see which medium truly shines on the Red Carpet.
