Julia Roberts and fashion have from time to time been at odds, one might say the symbiosis of Fashion and Julia have been unpredictable, sometimes glorious and other times–the remark OMG, what was she thinking have crossed our lips.  You can go back to the archives and view pictures of her when she dated/married some very famous men, such as  Kiefer Sutherland or Lyle Lovett, then mosey on down to Benjamin Bratt’s era, those were very fashionale years for Julia, remember the Vintage Black/White Valentino she wore when she won the Oscar for  Erin Brockorvich?   And now, her motherhood/wife of Daniel Moder era, a whole new Julia has emerged.   She is now shy about what she wears and yet relaxed with her choices.  She is way past trying to make  statements; she is Julia Roberts, Movie Star.  I like that certain sense of accomplishment and pride—for her work, her life and the sense of self she exudes.  Now, let’s check out what she chose to don for the New York premiere of Eat Pray Love.

Julia Roberts in a black shorts suit, very reminiscent of the ensemble Gweneth Paltrow threw together for one of the Iron Man Premieres--Julia seem unsure of her choice and yet it is quite lovely--the blue earrings and bracelets add a chic touch to the ensemble, her legs are fabulous and the sandals are quite hot!
