Another film Festival, The 66th Venice Film Festival, a very long history with many memorable film debuts and many gorgeous movie stars. The 2009 Venice Film Festival was a lot like the previous 65 years, some great films, some not so great and fabulous designer fashions on famous bodies and some not so stylish appearances. You think Italy; you think high fashion, super sized Glamour and Trend-setting styles. So, what did we actually see on the Red Carpet, were the stars and their guests elegant and ultra stylish, did they leave you coveting a dress/gown or two, running to your hair-dresser for a copy-cat hair style or were the looks thumbs down? Ryan’s Roses – Another Week of Marital Bliss or Should I Say Marital Mis-hap – Lisa & Dave
The drama of the Roses Trap, men are still falling for the ROSE’s essence, I think I get it…Many people believe that Roses fix/lift spirits/validate/pretty up a relationship and this is why the allure will never go away. But isn’t there an old adage that says nothing is free, you always eventually pay? So why the catch, the above-mentioned statement "fixes/lifts spirits/validate/pretty up a relationship", right? This episode tells the story of Lisa and Dave, married for 10 years with a 1 year old and of course Dave has a mistress, her name, Arlene. Dave gets the call offering the free Roses and falls for the promoting my delivery service BS and sends the ROSES TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, he’d ever met, Arlene….
Ahhhh the sweetness, the joy, elation and sheer excitement of giving validation to his budding relationship with this woman was very evident. But after 10 years of marriage, doesn’t Dave get it, that it is generally sweet and worry free in the beginning until the newness wears off? Take a listen to the craziness ROSES unveil…very prickly things, roses…oh to be caught and exposed.

He has been picking fights with his wife so he can have an excuse to storm out and go spend the night or day with his mistress, "THE CAD"….A new baby and you do this to the woman who gave you the most precious gift one could give/receive? I get that marriage is tough but why not work on re-building your relationship, find ways to improve your sex life, your communication, your respect for each other, appreciation for each other, why is the solution to go find a new hot bod? How can a relationship built on deceit survive and be remotely successful? Does Arlene know Dave is married and if so, does she care that she is contributing negatively to a child’s life? If Lisa and Dave should divorce, their child will forever be plagued by why his/her father left, was he/she the cause, why didn’t he love him/her enough to work it out and the questions go on and on. And if Dave was so unhappy with his life why knock up his wife, why not divorce or fix the marriage before adding a child to the mix? Ryan Seacrest made a very cunning, yet silly remark, one I’d never heard before "DUDE, Don’t Dude a DUDE", urging Dave to admit that Arlene is truly his mistress because of course he said they are just friends…Silly, Silly, broken Man!
Ryan Seacrest, You The Man!!! Out duding dudes in So Cal. Keep it up bro and I hope the segment continues to be a mystery to the wonderful men of our fair local cities because it does good and without the mask intact because 102.7 KIISFM is such a girly station, my subject "Ryan’s Roses" would be gone.
