Falling Into Winter 2010

Alas, it's time to prepare for the fall and winter months ahead.  The pleasure of planning our wardrobes of beautifully cut coats/jackets, flared and skinny/pencil pants, woolen shorts, sexy skirts and dresses---formal gowns and cocktail dresses for festive occasions---The dresses are sexy and elegant featuring, one shoulder and strapless silhouettes with ruffles, pleating and biased contours, in luxurious fabrics of fine silks/satin, leather, fine wool blends, adorned with fur, all mesmerizing.  The collections are simply gorgeous; the cuts are figure conscious drawing the eyes to the body's curves...The presence of furs and leather and the overall exotic looks are cajoling in a seriously sexy way.   Here's a look at some premier and contemporary designers, who have created their very best for the season.

 Let's enter the Fall/Winter 2010 fashion season with an evening out with---

J. Mendel---Ready for a night out looking radiantly chic and sexy?  This sneak peek gives you an idea of a very desirable collection!

 K-Bobby---This collection is all about cocktail dresses and evening gowns for the woman who wants to be set apart from the crowd.  They encompass modish exquisiteness; very event worthy, definitely a go to designer for your festive--- want to be noticed soirée outings!

Carlos Miele---A Collection with some major color presence, inviting and cheerful and at the same time provocative!  All factors to brighten the cold months ahead...

 Carmen Marc Valvo---A bold collection for a woman who dares to expose her presence...The pieces are powerful and confident with daringly sexy lines and the oversized ruffles are magnificent!

 Eric Raisina---Cool Crowd Cocktail Hour?  Dresses for the hot young consumer ready for a good time.  There is a sense of fun, impish and à la mode attitude in the designs!

Carolina Herrera---The Queen, she  exudes Coco Chanel's essence; the wool blended trousers, jackets, coats, the use of leather, fur, silk, satin, chiffon and tulle topped with hats, are brilliantly intertwined to create a collection of warm colors that is beyond enticing.  The flow of the silhouettes conveys comfort, ease and sheer luxury.  The shade of red used is hypnotic! From day to cocktails to formals, the collection is über elegant! Every seriously fashionable woman will want to own all the pieces in this collection!  My slogan has to be reiterated again for this Fashion Madam---"A joie de vivre repertoire"!

		

Caroline Charles of London---The head, neck and hand accessories, including the ear muffs are wonderfully clever; the wool, plaid, tweeds are feminine and striking.  I like that the shorts are truly short.  This is a collection of deliberate assuredness...

Diesel---A sexy collection!  If there was any doubt that sexy might be missing from fashion, Diesel has made it clear it is here to stay...The lines are flattering, sassy, brash, daring and yet elegant.  The belt accessory is awesome, not necessary because of how the pieces fit but totally add an extra style oomph.  The collection styled with the ankle booties is another hit.  This is a definite sell out collection, bravura!

G-Star Raw---Phenomenal color use, iridescent and striking.  This composition is that of a very fine artist; the show of elegance is palpable and the accessories are very street with a chic edge, I love it; it is brilliantly presented and I am hoping for a grand reception by the public...

Isaac Mizrahi---Quilted leather, fur accents, color and easy flowing.  Many fashion iconic features have been incorporated in this collection. Totally inspired!

Jill Stuart---Imaginative and superlative---legs and more legs, the cinched waists are flattering.  The collection is fierce!

Marchesa---Sleek elegance of satin, silk chiffon, lace, ruffles and tulle. The designs are brilliantly imaginative, the colors are stunning and the silhouettes are flattering. Awe-inspiring!

  Marc Jacobs---Trend setting, yet  it is a timeless collection.  Any of these pieces could have been worn 20 years ago and will still be relevant 20 years to come.  There is no fashion boundary for Marc Jacobs.  The luxury of the furs, suede, leather, silk and satin that spun these designs are breathtakingly beautiful!.  If you are up for a wardrobe update look no further than to this Maestro, Marc Jacob, as his creations are the fashion world's delight!

Max Azria---Contemporary Chic!  The leather use, the easy flowing fits and even the square contours of the silhouettes invites a purchase or two. 

Milly by Michelle Smith---Such an inspired collection; the pieces are daring you to check out the legs.   The colors are fierce, the cuts are sexy, they depict daytime sizzle and are cocktail sexy!
