Haute Couture Spring 2009 When you think “Haute Couture” you think geniuses at work crafting the most luxurious of fabrics into elegant and avant-garde excellence. The Paris and Rome Couture shows featured some of the world’s greatest designers who showcased garments that made fashion enthusiasts gush in delight at witnessing the season’s dreams unveiled, while re-configuring closet spaces for the pieces that their minds and pocket books scram to purchase, expanding already enviable repertoire of couture collectibles. The designers chose vivacious colors, pioneering cuts, symmetry with overall brilliant compositions that were awe-inspiring.
